Definition
Midseason Showdown or MSS are the second step after Premier Challenge in the VGC circuit in which the winner gets 50 CP’s. In addition, TO (Tournament Organizers) may include prize pools to stimulate the competitive scene in that area.
They are played in one day and sometimes they are side events from larger events such as Special Events, Regionals or even Internationals providing another way to obtain CP’s.
Last years, the BFL has been limited to 6 per year independent of the series.

RESULTS
There have been lots of MSS throughout the last years. Fortunately, several websites have taken care of compiling results from minor events.
Internationally, we can talk about VGC.stats where it is possible to search results since 2018. Other regions like Spain is mostly covered by abyssalruins.com while Twitter accounts such as VGC France covers the french competitive scene.
